Playa de Sant Sebastia in Catalunia is an exposed beach break that offers relatively consistent surf, with winter being the optimal time of year for a session. The best conditions occur when an east windswell—which provides the majority of the waves here—combines with an offshore wind direction from the west. The beach break mainly produces right-hand waves and tends to work best around low tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite crowded, and surfers should be cautious of the strong rips that characterize this location.
