Peyo's in Catalunia is a fairly exposed reef break that is often inconsistent, with the summer months in particular tending to be flat. The best conditions occur when an east windswell combines with an offshore wind direction from the west. The spot offers some shelter from north winds and provides good surf at all stages of the tide. It remains an uncrowded break even when it is working, though surfers should watch out for hazards including urchins and rocks.
