Playa de Langre in Cantabria is a very sheltered beach break that usually has waves, with autumn and winter being the favored seasons. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves from an equal measure of windswells and groundswells; while it is best surfed around low tide and offers some shelter from west winds, it is unlikely to be crowded even when the surf is up. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southwest offshore winds, with January being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
