This spot produces both left and right-hand waves primarily from groundswells; while it is best surfed around high tide, visitors should be prepared for frequent crowds and take extra care when the lineup becomes busy. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with South offshore winds, with January being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
