Three Arch Bay in Orange County is a fairly exposed point break that delivers reliable surf year-round. It performs best with distant southwest groundswells and offshore winds from the northeast. Autumn, especially October, sees the most consistent clean conditions with rideable swell and light/offshore winds. While the wave quality can attract crowds when it's on, surfers should be mindful of hazards including sea urchins, rips, rocks, man-made dangers like buoys, localism, and restricted access due to its private beach areas.
