Santa Cruz Harbour is a sheltered beach and jetty break with reasonably consistent surf, best during summer, particularly in July. The break consists mainly of right-hand waves and performs well with south-southwest swells combined with offshore winds from the northeast. It picks up clean groundswells and works best around low tide. The spot can get crowded at times, and surfers should be cautious of rocks, obstacles, pollution, and rip currents.
