Pescaderos in Santa Barbara is a reasonably exposed beach break with consistent surf year-round. It works best with groundswells from the west-southwest and offshore winds from the north-northwest. Waves break both left and right and are typically best around low tide. The surf is most consistently clean during winter, especially in April, when rideable swells combine with favorable wind conditions. While it can get crowded, surfers should be cautious of strong rip currents.
