Law Street in San Diego County is an exposed beach break with generally unreliable waves, though it can produce decent surf when west swells combine with offshore winds from the east-northeast. Summer tends to offer the most favorable conditions, but the most consistent clean waves are usually found in winter, particularly in January. The spot is powered mostly by groundswells and can become fairly popular and crowded when it's breaking well.
