Jug Handle State Beach in Mendocino County, California is a semi-exposed sand-bar beach break that picks up west to northwest swell, offering both lefts and rights over soft peaks. It performs best around mid tide with light offshore winds from the east or northeast and tends to be most consistent from fall through early spring when northwest swells are strongest.
