Driftwoods in Santa Barbara is a fairly exposed point break that only works occasionally without a strong seasonal pattern. It performs best with groundswells from the south-southwest and offshore winds from the north-northeast. The spot is rarely crowded, offering a more secluded surf experience. The most consistent clean waves typically occur in Summer, especially in September.
