Centerville Beach in Humboldt County is an exposed beach break with reliable surf that can work year-round. It favors groundswells from the southwest and performs best with offshore winds from the southeast. The beach offers both left and right-hand waves, and it holds up well through all stages of the tide. The lineup can get busy when conditions are good. Surfers should be mindful of strong rip currents. The most consistent clean waves are typically found in winter, especially during January.
