Postollonec in Finistere, Brittany, is a very sheltered beach break with inconsistent surf, particularly during the summer when it tends to be flat. It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the north, offering some shelter from south winds. The spot receives an equal mix of local windswells and distant groundswells, providing both left and right-handers. While it is unlikely to be crowded even when the surf is up, surfers should watch out for dangerous rips. The most consistent clean waves typically occur in winter, particularly in February.
