La Palue in Brittany is an exposed beach break with reliable surf, though summer months tend to be mostly flat. It performs best with a west-southwest swell and offshore winds from the east, receiving an equal mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers and is best around high tide. It is often crowded, and surfers should be mindful of hazards including rips and the presence of other surfers. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in March.
