La Chapelle in Finistere, Brittany, is an exposed reef break with fairly consistent surf, although summer months tend to be mostly flat. It performs best with a southwest swell and offshore winds from the east, receiving an equal mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot is rarely crowded, but surfers should be mindful of hazards including rocks and rips. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in May.
