Kerloch in Brittany is an exposed beach break with quite consistent surf, though summer months tend to be mostly flat. It works best with a southwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast, receiving an equal mix of local windswells and distant groundswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers and performs best around mid-tide. While it is rarely crowded, surfers should be mindful of potential hazards including rips and pollution. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in May.
