Kerhillio in Morbihan - Brittany is an exposed sandbar break that has pretty consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds blow from the northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. Waves at the sandbar break both left and right. A fairly popular wave that can sometimes get crowded. Hazards include - Rips / undertow. The best conditions reported for surf at Kerhillio occur when a West swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the Northeast. The best time of year for surfing Kerhillio with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is during Spring and most often the month of March.
