It performs best with a southwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers and is unlikely to be crowded, even when the surf is up. However, surfers should watch out for rocks. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the spring, particularly in June.
