Medewi is a consistent left-hand point break on Bali's west coast, with optimal surfing conditions typically occurring from May to October during the dry season. The ideal setup for this spot is a south-southwest groundswell combined with offshore winds from the north-northeast. The wave breaks best around mid-tide. Surfers should be aware of rocks and the potential for crowds when the surf is good. The best time of year for consistent, clean waves is reportedly in the month of March.
