Rosarito Beach in Baja Norte is an exposed beach, reef, and rivermouth break with dependable surf, especially in the summer. It works best with offshore winds from the east and can receive both local windswells and distant groundswells, with the ideal swell direction being from the southwest. The break offers both left and right-hand beach breaks as well as reef breaks. Surfers should be aware that the sea here can be polluted. The best time for consistent, clean waves is during the summer, particularly in July, when the conditions align for optimal surfing.
