Renes in Baja Sur is an exposed beach break with reliable surf that works best during summer when conditions are optimal. The break picks up both groundswells and windswells with the ideal swell direction from the southwest, producing both left and right waves over a sandy bottom. It performs best with offshore winds from the east, and while it can get crowded when working, local access and fun waves keep surfers coming back. The best conditions occur when a southwest swell combines with an east offshore wind, with the most consistent clean, rideable waves typically found in summer, particularly in July.
