Quatro Casas in Baja Norte is an exposed reef and point break with fairly consistent surf, especially in winter. It works best with a south-southwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast, typically receiving clean groundswells. The spot is rarely crowded, even when there are waves, and is best surfed in summer, particularly in July, when clean, rideable waves are most common. Surfers should be cautious of rocks in the area.
