Ensenada Beaches in Baja Norte is a fairly exposed beach break with consistent surf, especially during autumn and winter. It works best with a west-northwest swell and offshore winds from the east-northeast, typically receiving more groundswells than windswells. The break offers both left and right-hand waves, but it can be crowded at times. The best conditions are usually found in winter, particularly in January, when clean, rideable waves are most common. Surfers should be cautious of pollution and sharks in the area.
