Palm Beach in Baja Sur is an exposed beach break that usually has waves year-round, offering both left- and right-hand peaks that work well at all stages of the tide. The spot performs best with offshore winds from the northeast and distant groundswells from the west–southwest, producing clean, rideable conditions when these elements align. Crowds are common when the surf is up, and surfers should be cautious of hazards such as rocks, sea urchins, and strong rips. The most reliable clean surf typically occurs during winter, especially in January.
