Old Man’s is a mellow righthand reef/point break in the Cabo San José area known for its long, gentle waves that are ideal for beginners and longboarders, often offering knee‑to‑head‑high surf when swell is present. It tends to work best with southern swells and lighter winds, producing cleaner, rolling waves across mid to higher tide levels and serving as a great place to learn or cruise rather than for steep, high‑performance surf.
