El Rincon in Baja Sur is a sheltered break known for quite reliable surf, with summer offering the best conditions for surfing. The break works best with offshore winds from the west–southwest and primarily receives clean groundswells from the south. It is very rarely crowded, making it a peaceful spot to catch waves. The best conditions occur when a south swell combines with a west–southwest offshore wind, with the most consistent clean, rideable waves typically found in winter, especially in June.
