Cerritos in Baja Sur is an exposed point break with consistent surf that can work year-round, mainly fueled by groundswells with the ideal swell direction from the west–southwest. The break performs best with offshore winds from the east–northeast, producing clean, well-shaped waves when these elements align. Even when the surf is up it is unlikely to be overly crowded, with the most reliable clean, rideable conditions typically occurring during winter, especially in January.
