This spot provides both left and right-hand waves from an equal mix of local windswells and distant groundswells; while it is best surfed around low tide and handles onshore winds better than most locations, visitors should be mindful of dangerous rips despite the lack of crowds. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with South-southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
