Playa de San Antolín in Asturias is a sheltered beach break that offers reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves primarily from groundswells; while it is best surfed around a rising low tide and can handle light onshore winds, visitors should be mindful of submerged rocks even though it is relatively uncrowded. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with South offshore winds, with February being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
