Playa de Cadavedo in Asturias is a fairly exposed reef break that works only when conditions are just right, with winter being the best season for size. This spot primarily offers right-handers driven by groundswells; while it is best at low tide and provides some shelter from Southwest winds, it is rarely crowded but requires caution due to hazardous rocks. The best conditions occur with a Northwest swell and Southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
