Molino de Papel in Andalucia is an exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right, with summer often being flat. The best conditions come with a south-southwest swell and offshore winds from the north-northeast. Groundswells are rare here, and surfing is possible at all stages of the tide. The break can sometimes get crowded. Hazards include urchins, rocks, localism, and pollution. The best month to surf Molino de Papel is July.
