Los Lances in Andalucia is an exposed beach break that doesn’t work very often. The best times to surf here are during winter and spring. It receives a mix of windswells and groundswells, with the ideal swell direction coming from the southwest. Offshore winds from the northeast help clean up the waves, which offer both left and right handers. The surf is good at all stages of the tide. It’s rarely crowded, but surfers should be cautious of strong rips.
