📍 Local Knowledge
Super Green in Washington State is a sheltered beach and reef break that sees surfable waves under the right conditions, though summer is typically flat. It can pick up both local windswells and distant groundswells, with the ideal swell direction from the west-northwest. The break works best with offshore winds from the south-southeast and is very rarely crowded, though when others are in the water, a Gath helmet is recommended due to close quarters and potential collisions. The best surf is reported when a WNW swell meets S-SE offshore winds, with the most consistent clean waves found in winter, particularly in December.
