📍 Local Knowledge
Long Beach Peninsula in Washington is an exposed beach break with reasonably consistent surf that can work year-round, with the best conditions typically in winter, especially January. The spot receives an equal mix of windswells and groundswells, with the ideal swell direction from the west. Offshore winds from the southeast create clean conditions. The beach offers both lefts and rights and works well at all tide stages. Thanks to its location, it rarely gets crowded, but surfers should be cautious of dangerous rips.
