Current Conditions

POOR
Poor conditions right now. Tiny waves under 1ft with quality 10s ground swell but strong 16kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from NNE would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

๐Ÿ“ Local Knowledge

South Jetty at Murrells Inlet is an exposed jetty break offering punchy shorebreaks and grovely waves when swell arrives. Today, conditions are semi-clean but textured, with an emerging windswell setting up for the logs and grovelers. The spot works best in late summer into early fallโ€”especially Septemberโ€” when storm-driven southeast swells and smoother offshore or cross-offshore winds prime the jetty for peeling peaks. Despite its jetty structure enhancing the swell, consistency remains low, making good sessions rare. Expect fun but short-lived rides.
