Spiders in the Taghazout/Tamraght region of Morocco is a fairly exposed reef break with somewhat consistent surf. It works best with a north or northwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast or east. The spot receives clean Atlantic groundswells that hollow out over a shallow, flat-bottomed reef, with the most consistent clean waves typically occurring in winter, particularly from December through January. Crowds are uncommon, even when the surf is up, due to its fast, powerful, and technical nature.
