Manzanillo in Tola Province is an exposed point break with fairly consistent surf, best during Summer and most reliable in July. It works with northeast offshore winds and southwest groundswells, breaking as a left-hand point. The wave is best around mid-tide, and while it rarely gets too crowded, rips and rocks are hazards to watch out for.
