πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Sachuest Beach (2nd Beach) in Rhode Island is a fairly exposed beach and point break that offers consistent surf throughout the year. It works best with a southeast swell and offshore winds from the north. Both left and right beach break waves are on offer, along with a notable left-hand point break. The surf holds up well at any tide, and the spot generally stays uncrowded even when it’s breaking. Keep an eye out for strong rips. Winter is the prime season for clean, rideable waves, with March being the most dependable month.
