📍 Local Knowledge

Lighthouse in Rhode Island is an exposed reef and point break with consistent surf year-round, working best on south-southeast swells and offshore winds from the west-northwest. The spot features both left and right reef breaks, performing well around mid tide on a rising tide. It can get a bit crowded, and hazards include rocks and strong rips. Summer, especially July, offers the best chance for clean, rideable waves.
