📍 Local Knowledge

Baileys Beach in Rhode Island is a fairly exposed beach break that only delivers surf occasionally, with summer often being flat. It works best on a southeast swell paired with offshore winds from the north. The wave setup offers both lefts and rights, performing best around low tide. Despite its scenic location, the spot is rarely crowded. Hazards include strong rips, so caution is advised. Winter, especially March, provides the most consistent opportunity for clean, rideable waves.
