📍 Local Knowledge

Conado Beach in Puerto Rico is a fairly exposed breakwater break with unreliable waves. It offers both left and right-hand waves. The best conditions are provided by a North swell (a mix of groundswells and windswells) combined with an offshore South-Southwest wind. It is often crowded. Hazards include urchins, rips/undertow, and rocks. The best time for consistent, clean waves is during the winter, particularly the month of October.
