Gigaro in Côte d'Azur is an exposed beach and reef break that offers relatively consistent surf, with autumn and winter providing the most favorable opportunities for waves. It performs best with a south swell and offshore winds from the northeast, though most of the surf arrives in the form of local windswells. The beach offers both left and right-handers and is notably versatile, as the conditions remain rideable at all stages of the tide. While the lineup can become crowded when the surf is up, surfers must remain vigilant and watch out for hazards such as submerged rocks and other obstacles in the water.
