Galiote in Côte d'Azur is a fairly exposed beach break with inconsistent surf, frequently remaining flat during the summer months. It performs best when an east-northeast swell combines with offshore winds from the southwest, with waves almost exclusively provided by local windswells. The beach offers both left and right-handers and is notably versatile, as the surf remains rideable at all stages of the tide. A significant advantage of this spot is that it is unlikely to be too crowded, even on days when the conditions align and the surf is up.
