Vila Nova de Milfontes is an exposed right-hand reef break in South Portugal that offers consistent surf year-round. The most favorable conditions are a Southwest swell from a mix of groundswells and windswells combined with offshore winds from the East. The break provides good surf at all stages of the tide. The spot is rarely crowded. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
