Torreira is an exposed beach break in Beira that offers very consistent surf, with Winter being the best time of year for surfing. The most favorable conditions are a West swell from windswells or groundswells combined with offshore winds from the East-Southeast. The break provides both left and right waves and offers good surf at all stages of the tide. The spot is unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Surfers should be aware of rips/undertow. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
