πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Supertubos in Peniche is a reasonably exposed beach and reef break that performs best with swells from the southwest and offshore winds from the northeast. Known for its heavy, barreling waves, this spot produces powerful, hollow peaks that break close to shore, offering world-class conditions for experienced surfers. It works best during medium to large swells and is most consistent in winter, though summer tends to be mostly flat. Crowds are common, and the intensity of the wave can make the lineup challenging. The best surf typically occurs during winter, particularly in February.
