Sacor is an exposed beach and reef break in Douro and Minho that offers reasonably consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a West-Northwest swell (from windswells or groundswells) combined with offshore winds from the East-Southeast. The break is surfable at all stages of the tide. The spot is sometimes crowded, and surfers should be aware of locals and pollution. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
