Ribeira Quente Right on Ilha de São Miguel in the Azores is an exposed right‑hand point/reef break that offers rideable waves when swell energy is present, typically peeling along the seawall and jetty area. It works best with southern and southwest swells and offshore winds from the north, producing cleaner, more organized faces, though it isn’t as consistent as some other regional spots and is often quiet and rarely ridden. The bottom is mainly rocky reef and boulders, which help shape the wave but also create hazards. The best month to surf Ribeira Quente Right is August.
