Praia de Paramos is an exposed beach break in North Portugal (Espinho) that offers consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The break is located between two piers. The most favorable conditions are a West swell combined with offshore winds from the East or Southeast. The break provides good surf at all stages of the tide. The bottom is composed of sand with some rocks near the shoreline. The spot is uncrowded. Surfers should be aware of rocks (especially in front of the small chapel nearby) and localism. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
