Praia de Almograve is an exposed reef break in Portugal - Alentejo that offers fairly consistent surf year-round, featuring both left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a Northwest groundswell combined with offshore winds from the East-Southeast. The spot is so uncrowded that crowds are unknown, even when the surf is up. Surfers should be aware of rips and rocks. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in December.
