πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Monte Estoril is a reasonably exposed reef/Jetty break in Lisbon that has inconsistent surf with no set seasonal pattern, offering both left and right reef breaks. The most favorable conditions are a Southwest swell from windswells or groundswells combined with offshore winds from the North. The break works best around high tide. The spot sees relatively few surfers, even on good days. Surfers should be aware of submerged rocks. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in April.
